Attention: This is a purely road motorcycle tour to the North Cape

Anyone planning such a trip should carefully consider what to pack on their motorcycle. Trip - Short Description: Our journey begins in Denmark near Hirtshals, where we take the ferry to Kristiansand. There's also the option of crossing the bridge to Norway, but that's a detour for us, as we want to visit the Lysebotn Fjord. The route heads north, past glaciers, snow-covered roads, and fjords. The Lofoten Islands offer a welcome respite with their warm climate. Afterward, we continue up to the North Cape, where we can experience the midnight sun. The return journey takes us through the forests of Lapland, past Lake Inari, and southward. Passing by Finland's many lakes, we travel to the enchanting city of Helsinki, where we then take the overnight ferry to Stockholm. In Sweden, the traffic is quite heavy again (just like in Germany). We enjoy the sea one last time near Sweden's island of Ölland (where swimming is possible). Afterwards, we take the ferry back to Germany, where we begin our journey home. |
