Balkan Motorcycle Tour Guide (English)

Attention: This is a purely road motorcycle tour
The tour starts in Croatia near Rijeka, then goes through Croatia/Bosnia and Herzegovina/Montenegro/Albania and ends in Greece near Igoumenitsa.

Foreword:

Our Balkan tour begins near Rijeka (Croatia) and continues through Croatia, Bosnia, Montenegro, and Albania, ending in northern Greece (Igoumenita).
We have tried to incorporate the most beautiful motorcycle routes and sights into the tour.
The length of each stage is usually somewhat dependent on the sights, delays due to ferries, and a leisurely riding style.
Our guidebook also lists accommodations, and we try to offer camping, guesthouses, and hotels at the end of each day's stage. We strive to find motorcycle-friendly accommodations and place great importance on motorcycle garages (secure parking), restaurants, and a pleasant atmosphere. This isn't always possible!
However, you can easily forgo camping on this trip, as there are plenty of accommodations available, and they are affordable in Bosnia-Herzegovina/Montenegro and Albania.

Our guidebook also includes accommodations, and we try to offer camping/guesthouses and hotels at the end of each day's stage. For GPS/navigation enthusiasts, we naturally also offer GPS routes in many formats (Garmin, TomTom, GPX, OziExplorer, and for mobile phone navigation). Specifically for Garmin navigation devices and the BMW Navigator, we have an SD card that you simply insert into the device, and all routes, points of interest, and places to eat are automatically loaded. The tours are available as a ring binder (DIN A5, for tank bags), as a tour app (Guibo), or as an e-book for your mobile phone.

If you arrive with a trailer, you can leave it here for the entire duration of your trip (for a fee). Accommodations are listed in our book, and we always try to offer campsites/guesthouses and hotels at the end of each day's tour. We try to find motorcycle-friendly accommodations and place great value on a motorcycle garage (secure parking), a restaurant, and a pleasant atmosphere. It's not always possible, but it's often possible! On this trip, however, you can do without camping altogether, as there are plenty of overnight stays, and these are affordable in Bosnia-Herzegovina, Montenegro, and Albania.
