Route Description
The spur road climbs to an altitude of over 3,000 meters. At the end, there is an old ski lift that was dismantled last year.
This gravel road is a must-ride for anyone visiting the Maritime Alps and is considered one of the most scenic routes in the region. At the beginning, the paved road winds its way uphill to a small village where there is a small ristorante.

September, the route is usually open, but it remains demanding: it climbs up to 2,997 meters, features coarse gravel, and is only suitable for off-road capable vehicles.
From December to May, however, it is completely closed due to snow and avalanche risk.
In short: perfect for a high-alpine summer trip, but always ride with caution and check the weather conditions beforehand.

You are rarely alone up here; motorcycles, 4x4 vehicles, and others regularly make their way to the top. There is a small lake here, although it is not suitable for swimming. This mountain route is truly an unforgettable experience!!!
