Route Description
You wake up early in the morning and look up toward Mont Jafferau, which rises majestically over the Maritime Alps. Once a strategic lookout point with views over the Aosta Valley, this mountain tells the story of old military roads and remote trails.
As the sun rises over the peaks, you feel the clear, fresh mountain air and the gentle echo of nature that has called this place home for centuries.

On this route, you can visit three forts. Upon reaching the first one, Fort Foens, we take a break. The route then continues through many switchbacks up to Monte Jafferau, where a ruin can also be explored. After enjoying the panoramic views, we continue on to Fort Pramand. The final 250 meters are challenging for adventure motorcycles. If you prefer, you can skip the fort and ride along the ridge down into the valley.
