Route Description
Our off-road tour today takes us around a reservoir that can get very full in winter. This tour can also be done at any time of year. The gravel road begins by winding its way through a small village to the lake. Once there, we drive along the lakeshore for a while. At the end of one of the lake's arms, we cross a small ford, about 20 cm deep, then drive uphill again for a short distance before continuing to the end of the lake where there is a dam.

Trail Conditions:
The difficulty level is perhaps 2-3. There are some washouts on the track, but they are mostly only 10 cm deep. In some places, they can reach 20 cm deep. Otherwise, there are only moderate inclines and declines. During our trip, there was no traffic, and the track is almost 30 km long. Scenery: The scenery is 3-4 stars out of 5, as there are some great viewpoints overlooking the lake in good weather. Otherwise, it's just Spanish countryside.

Route Summary:
The first section of the route winds through the Spanish landscape. The second part descends to a lake via a side road. Here you'll be rewarded with fantastic views. Afterward, the route continues along the lake for a few kilometers. Here, the clearance is limited by branches that hang down to a height of 2.20 meters. At the end of the lake, we drive through a 30-meter-long and 25-centimeter-deep ford.

Important:
This route is not suitable for large vehicles and is not recommended for 4x4 buses or pickup trucks with camper bodies. The tree branches hang very low, at a height of 2.20 meters, and are difficult to avoid. Branches also protrude laterally, as the track is mostly only 1.2–1.5 meters wide. The route is suitable for off-road vehicles, including SUVs, or adventure motorcycles.
