We drive through several dry riverbeds, some of which are very gravelly, making them relatively easy for off-road drivers. The landscape is expansive, and we encounter large flocks of sheep twice. The mountains are getting ever closer.

As we reach the foot of the mountains, the landscape becomes somewhat more rugged. A good gravel road quickly takes us to an altitude of over 1000 meters. We drive past a small village, after which it becomes very isolated. After a small valley, the road continues up to 2000 meters.

Once at the top, a small paved road leads to today's highlight: an observatory belonging to the Max Blank Institute. Several observatories are located here at an altitude of approximately 2150 meters. We then descend back into the valley via smaller roads until we reach the main road, where our tour ends.
