Route Description
Our tour today takes us to the Sierra Baza National Park. A paved road leads us into the park before we turn left onto a gravel track.

Road Conditions:
The track is consistently very good, mostly grade 2, with only a few sections of grade 2-3 difficulty. There is no traffic on the track. When we drove it in early February, there was still snow on the road at higher elevations. Two small fords, approximately 20 cm deep and 5 m long, were also noteworthy. Scenery: The scenery isn't quite 4 stars. The highlights in spring are the still snow-covered peaks, the beautiful views, the few fincas (traditional farmhouses), and a picnic area.

Route Summary:
A narrow paved road leads past almond groves into the mountains and uphill. Afterward, a well-maintained track begins. In spring, there may still be a thin layer of snow on the north-facing slopes, while in summer it is pleasantly warm here. You'll pass two fincas and a picnic area in the woods. After the picnic area, the trail leads through two fords. In the final section, the track widens and winds its way downhill.

Important:
At the end of this section, there is a sign prohibiting motorcycles and quad bikes from traveling in the opposite direction.
