We drove along a well-maintained track towards the solitary mountain; the weather and the track were fantastic. At a junction, the path now climbs steeply upwards. After several switchbacks, we reached a launching area for paragliders and hang gliders. The path continued until we reached a plateau with a magnificent view.

Shortly after, we reach the summit where several radar towers stand; there's also a church up here. After a short break, we drive back a little way along the side road before turning onto a loop track that takes us 360 degrees around the mountain. A fantastic view opens up after every bend. We always have a view of the shimmering, light blue reservoir.

The wide and easily navigable track takes us directly around the mountain. The route then descends back into the valley, where after approximately 35 kilometers we reach a paved road, marking the end of our first route.
