Route description: A small, partially paved, partially gravel road then takes us into the mountains of the Sierra Alhamilla National Park. The rocks here are almost purple, a true spectacle of color when the sun shines on them. After a while, we reach a small radar station where the gravel road begins. The gravel road stretches from radar station to radar station. At the last and largest station, you can enjoy the view all the way to the sea near Almeria. You can also see the many tomato fields down in the valley. On the other side, there's a view of the national parks with their mountains. We continue driving through the Sierra, where the road descends from almost 1300 meters to 200 meters in the valley. At the end of today's tour, we pass through a small town where you can take a lovely break. |
